The Influence of Principals' Technology Training on the Integration Of Technology into Schools Christella Dawson The most interesting thing I found about this article was that the age of the principal and how long they had been an administrator were not as important as the length of time they had been in training and use of technology. Also, this was not just basic computer and Internet training. Those who had training specific to their needs as principal, leading a technology integrated school, they were successful in leading a noticeably different school. Age was found to be an important factor however, but not the most important. Principals must also lead their teachers by example. When there is inservice or outside training provided, the principal must also attend. He/She needs to learn what his/her teachers are being asked to learn and implement. This in turn, will encourage teacher commitment.
