My words were "sheer," "colorful," and "wet." When I got there, I didn't really know what I was going to do. There were certain things I found that other people had done that I really liked like the fact that it was suspended from the ceiling. I also really liked the one wheel frame that had a black garbage bag on it with red paint that made it look almost spherical.
Structurally, I didn't change a lot. I took a few things away, and I added some others. The main focus of my piece was on the word I picked, which was "wet." I put down layers and layers of paper underneath the spots of the bike that would drip, and I hung pieces of paper on the bike itself. I was kind of going for a stalactite/stalagmite thing. Finally, I watered down some paint and doused it. By the end, the paper I had put down was completely soaked, but I knew that was a possibility. (Which, by the way, I AM sorry about the mess I made. I had intended to clean it up anyway once the bike had moved. It's a purdy white square again now.)
